Inauguration 04th March by the Hon'ble MP, Shri Dawa Norbula. Name The centre is named after MR. Owen G Glenn and his foundation Glenn Family Foundation as a mark of our deep gratitude to the donor, Mr. Owen G Glenn. His generous contribution enabled us to buy this prime property measuring 01.25 acres and give a face lift to the beautiful but dilapidated cottage and the outhouse. It was known as Tibet House. Background Medical Work Dr. R. Bhattacharya, Professor and his wife Dr. S. Bhattacharya, ex-principal, North Bengal Medical College, Siliguri offered great assistance in setting up this centre. This was the culmination of our 3 years awareness programmes, some of these were with Dr. R. Bhattacharya. All the running costs and maintenance i.e. medical, nutrition, staff salary, building maintenance are borne by the sisters of St. Joseph of Cluny.
